Most free SEO checkers bury their limits. Here are ours, so you can stop reading now if we are the wrong tool.
Three things to know before you run it
- We do not check backlinks. Most searches in this category are really looking for a backlink tool. We have no link index at all, so if that is what you came for, use Ahrefs or Semrush — we wrote an honest comparison saying exactly that.
- We do not run a lab page-speed test. We report how long the page took us to fetch, which is a rough signal. For Core Web Vitals use Google's own PageSpeed Insights, which is free and better at it.
- It checks one page, not your whole site. The free check looks at the URL you paste. Crawling a site — 10 pages free, 100 on a paid plan — needs an account.

Is this SEO checker really free?
Yes. Checking a page needs no account and no card, and the result appears on screen straight away. A free account raises it to three saved page audits a month plus the sitemap, mobile, spelling and schema tools.
Do I need to install anything or verify my site?
No. Paste a public URL and we fetch it, exactly as a search engine would. Verification is only needed if you later want to connect your own Search Console data.
Will it check my whole website?
Not on the free check — that looks at the single page you give it. A site crawl covers 10 pages on the free plan and up to 100 on a paid one.
Can it check my backlinks?
No. We have no backlink data of any kind, and we would rather tell you that here than after you have signed up.
How is this different from Google Search Console?
Search Console tells you what already happened — impressions, clicks, positions. This tells you what is wrong with the page right now and what to change. They work well together, and connecting Search Console makes our recommendations sharper.
